Tampa-based Firm Awarded Contract to Support TNMA
FedTechServices, LLC (FTS), January 2010 a Tampa-based defense contractor, announces it has been selected exclusively to work on a $3.125 million contract to provide the U.S. Central Command with operations and maintenance support for Theater Network Management Architecture (TNMA). TNMA is a suite of distributed network management software tools that give CENTCOM command and control of diverse telecommunications networks providing services ranging from email and streaming video to operation of a new generation of unmanned military systems.
FTS, which is operating on a subcontract to prime contractor SRC, has been engaged in the development of TNMA for the past year. It now assumes an expanded role in operations and maintenance of TNMA, providing administration and upgrades on an ongoing basis.
The new contract represents a significant growth in revenue for FTS, which also had more than doubled revenue from 2008 to 2009.
