Network Convergence Sales Engineer

General Description

A successful candidate for this role will have a strong background in Cisco Unified Communications (CUCM, Unity, TelePresence, CUCC, and related products), and Cisco Security (MARS, NAC, ASA, and related products). As a Sales Engineer the candidate is expected to have superior communication skills, be able to articulate solutions in a manner both technical and non-technical customers can understand, and be proficient in technical presentations and product demonstration. FedTechServices engineers are expected to have in-depth knowledge of data center environments, and keep all direct and indirect components of a solution in mind to deliver a complete end-to-end solution at the highest quality.

Work Experience Requirements

  • - Prior sales engineer consulting experience required
  • - Minimum five years’ experience designing complex enterprise UC environments
  • - Minimum three years’ experience designing complex enterprise security solutions
  • - Proven network and UC design experience in a large scale environment
  • - Solid understanding of advance networking solutions including IPv6, MPLS, VPLS, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, multicast, policy-based routing, QoS, CoS/LLQ, traffic-shaping, load balancing, etc.
  • - Knowledge of voice signaling protocols including SCCP, MGCP, H.323, and SIP, media protocols including RTP, SRTP, and RTCP, trunk solutions including PRI, T1 CAS, SIP B2BUA, and POTS, and analog solutions including FXO and FXS
  • - Proven experience with Cisco Unified Communication Manage, Cisco Unified Contact Center, Cisco TelePresence Manager, Cisco Unity, and Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, 2007, or 2010
  • - Experience with Cisco Unified Presence a plus
  • - Experience with Avaya Aura a plus

Intructor, Technical Trainer

General Description

Responsibilities will be a 50/50 split between Operations and Maintenance technician and Technical Trainer. Acceptable candidate will operate and maintain a unique Network Monitoring System (NMS); monitor and validate alerts from multiple applications and network devices. This candidate will maintain, and teach, each of the software applications within the monitoring solution. Candidate will perform as a primary responder to system issues as well as address and resolve Linux and Windows Server, various network systems alerts and escalates as appropriate. This individual will design and develop training programs. Interested candidate will currently have or be able to attain an ACTIVE security clearance.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • - Fully use and apply accepted industry standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques of learning
  • - Develops and conducts programs to train employees and customers of industry, commercial and government

Network Monitoring Technician

General Description

Acceptable candidate will operate and maintain a unique Network Monitoring System (NMS); monitor and validate alerts from multiple applications and network devices. This candidate will maintain each of the software applications within the monitoring system and implement solutions as required. Candidate will perform as a primary responder to address and resolve Linux and Windows Server, as well as various network system alerts and escalate as appropriate. Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • - Monitors the network monitoring system and responds to system generated alerts and addresses system generated alerts
  • - Responsible to ensure all enterprise management tools are interoperable with each other and that the tools are performing as specified
  • - Primary point of contact for all NMS user account additions/deletions/changes
  • - Perform all enterprise management tools upgrade to ensure tools are operational and available to enterprise personnel
  • - Coordinate maintenance activities on the NMS system to keep the system on supported patch levels

Netcool Technician

General Description

  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • - Candidate will provide network and customer support to the Operations and Maintenance team as well as to the customers network, ensuring fast, efficient and effective technical response to network device and circuit incidents and problems as reported, or discovered via proactive network monitoring
  • - Network Incident and problem escalation point for any and all network incidents. Provide network and network security support and assistance on any and all network devices
  • - Management of Assigned ticket queues in incident management systems
  • - Work with network devices and servers to ensure compliance within the Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessment (IAVA) process, including scanning and remediation
  • - Work with Vendors as necessary and open TAC cases with Vendors

Solutions Developers

General Description

NMS solutions developers are responsible for maintaining, upgrading and troubleshooting a wide variety of NMS tools. Additionally they are responsible for customers change, trouble tickets and outage escalation. Candidates must have or possess the ability to attain a US DOD security clearance to SECRET. Travel to nations located in the Middle East may be required.

Work Experience Requirements

Candidates for the position must have several years of demonstrated experience supporting, implementing, and troubleshooting Network management solutions.

Qualified candidates for this position must have the following experience:

  • - 3+ years IBM Netcool Experience
  • - Unix / Linux experience desired

The Technical Writer is responsible for developing documentation, which may be included in project deliverables or proposals or writing help text for the operational system. Top-notch technical writers are experienced, highly productive and self-driven to work on editing, writing and publishing technical and end user documentation. The technical writer receives input from the technical staff and is responsible for creating the documentation in a clear and concise style.

Controller

General Description

FedTechServices is looking for a controller who has a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a corporate environment. Main responsibilities include:

  • - Maintain the system of accounts and keep records of all transactions and assets.
  • - Supervise an Assistant Controller, an Accounting Manager, Staff Accountants, and other Associates who may be in the Payroll Department.
  • - Coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
  • - Ensure that the Balance Sheet is fair and the Income Statement is reasonable and analytical review procedures.
